Existing Overall Floor Plan

Project Overview

This project involved the interior renovation of an occupied commercial tenant space, with the work focused on cosmetic and functional upgrades.

The renovation scope included improvements to the existing interior while preserving the building's overall layout and operational requirements. No changes were made to:

  • Building occupancy classification

  • Construction type

  • Means of egress

  • The surrounding site or exterior footprint

This approach allowed the client to modernize the space while maintaining compliance with applicable building regulations.

Project Scope

Lynx Professional Services provided comprehensive construction documentation support for this commercial interior renovation project using Autodesk Revit as the primary software platform. Our team developed a coordinated architectural BIM model and prepared detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and construction details.

Working closely with the architect, we ensured the documentation accurately reflected the design intent while maintaining coordination, consistency, and drafting accuracy throughout the project. The final permit-ready drawing set facilitated a seamless transition from design development to construction, delivering clear, coordinated documentation to support the successful execution of the renovation.

Architecture Phase

Construction Documentation

During the Construction Documentation phase, our team translated the approved renovation design into a complete, coordinated drawing set for permitting and construction. The documentation clearly communicated the scope of work while supporting efficient coordination between architects, consultants, contractors, and permitting authorities.
