Axonometric
Project Overview (Scope)
This project involved the Design Development of a new institutional library, transforming the initial design concept into a coordinated architectural proposal. The objective was to develop a functional, modern library that balanced public gathering spaces, staff facilities, learning environments and book collections within a cohesive building design.
Lynx Professional Services supported the Design Development phase by producing a coordinated architectural drawing package in Autodesk Revit. The scope included the site plan, basement, first and second floor plans, roof plan, and architectural perspectives, providing a comprehensive representation of the building's layout, circulation, and overall design.
The floor plans incorporated dedicated spaces for public collections, children's and teen areas, study rooms, meeting rooms, computer labs, genealogy and quiet reading areas, staff offices, support facilities, and building services. Architectural perspectives and an axonometric view further illustrated the proposed exterior design, helping communicate the project's design intent and supporting the continued development of the library.
