Project Overview (Scope)
Advanced Recovery Rehabilitation Centre – Renovation of Existing Facility
This project involves the renovation and reconfiguration of an existing rehabilitation facility. Demolition works include the selective removal of existing doors, frames, windows, partitions, plumbing fixtures, millwork, equipment, furniture, decorative finishes, and mechanical and electrical components to accommodate the new layout. Where specified, existing items such as sinks, sanitaryware, and laundry equipment will be carefully removed, stored, and reinstalled in new locations. Existing floor services, power, communication outlets, and mechanical systems will be retained and relocated where practical to integrate with the new design.
All demolition will be undertaken following verification of existing site conditions, ensuring no structural elements are compromised, with adjacent finishes repaired to match existing conditions. Damaged items outside the demolition scope will be repaired or replaced, and new work will comply with applicable building, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC code requirements.
The renovation also includes the removal of obsolete fixtures such as nurse call buttons, grab bars, blinds, decorative columns, fireplaces, and display units, with all areas prepared for the proposed refurbishment.
